How offers are ranked
Last updated 2026-08-06
What sets the order
The order is set entirely by the sort you choose. There is no relevance score, no personalisation and no machine-learned ordering — the same search with the same sort gives every buyer the same order.
| Sort | Ordered by |
|---|---|
| Newest (default) | Time published, newest first |
| Ending soon | Auction end time, soonest first |
| Price ascending / descending | The listing's effective price |
What does not affect it
- Paid promotion. A seller can buy a front-page highlight. It appears only in a separately labelled "Sponsored" carousel and never moves a listing in search results.
- Subscription plan or commission tier. What a seller pays us changes nothing.
- Seller ratings, sales history, or whether the seller is a trader or a private individual.
Dereferencing
A listing stops being shown when it is sold, ends, is unpublished by the seller, or is removed by us under the Terms. Where we remove content, the seller receives a statement of reasons.
